The Gilmore Girls are DUNZO

So it's a done deal after 7 years on the air Gilmore Girls will air it's last episode on May 15.The CW and WBTV released a joint statement noting the passing Thursday morning. "This series helped define a network and created a fantastic, storybook world featuring some of television's most memorable, lovable characters," the statement read. Variety reports

Money was a key factor in the decision, with the parties involved not able to reach a deal on salaries for the main cast members. Other issues, such as number of episodes and production dates, may have also played a role.

My biggest disappointment is that the news came after the season finale was filmed. I feel like after seven seasons, it would have been great to have a bona fide *series* (as opposed to just season) finale. The OC got one. The last episode is entitled "Bon Voyage"

Heroes becoming interactive with new promostion

By going to the Primatech website and filling out a "job application," you will receive text messages from Hana( aka Wireless) in which she conveys "secret" information about the Company. Thus, while we are piecing together the mysteries of the show, so is Hana — and she's providing us with clues to boot.

According to a new NBC press release, Hana will send viewers directions about how to help her, and the fans' actions will somehow influence the next episode of "Heroes":
Starting April 9th, Hana ... will enlist fans to help with her plans to thwart Linderman's plots. The top-secret online activity will actually interact with the on-air story and will pay off in the Monday, April 23rd episode, when "Heroes" returns to the NBC lineup.
This is a cool interactive project for NBC. It's a great way to get fans more involved.

Check out the Heroes website for more info

Nelly May have when 5 JUNOs but no one was Watching

Last week Nelly Furtado won 5 Junos( the Canadian equivalent to the grammys) at the Junos Awards that she also hosted. Sadly, according to Media in Canada the show was down a quarter of a million.

Sunday night's 2007 JUNO Awards on CTV finished with a national average audience of 912,000 viewers, down from a Nielsen count of 1.225 million in 2006. Total reached peaked at 3.7 million Canadians who tuned in at some point in the broadcast. The 2005 JUNOs audience was about 1.217 million (Nielsen, 2+), while the 2004 broadcast attracted 1.343 million viewers.
The question is why? Is it because people don't support canadian music? Why do you think the rating are down?

So my Favorite girl Sisley was sent home last week on " The Search for the next doll".

So there is only 6 Dolls Left and there going to be performing in Vegas but the pressure is getting to the girls. Asia is heading for a breakdown and the tall girl is eating like crazy. It looks like another great episode.
Here are two clips

A New season of the Simple Life

Simple Sluts
Hilton and Richie are working as counselors at Camp Shawnee, a fake camp made for the show, in the mountains near Los Angeles onn the location of the real camp "Camp JCA Shalom", E! Entertainment Television Inc. announced 3/13/07. The camp will be host to five different specialty groups: Wellness Camp, Pageant Camp, Couples Camp, Survival Camp and Drama Camp. This disproves the rumor that the girls will travel from camp to camp. They will remain on one camp and have a different group of campers come in each week.

Paris and Nicole look hot in this picture don't you think?

The 5th season of the Simple Life starts May 28 on the E network. No air date has been set in Canada

Hockey Night in Canada is staying on CBC

As a Canadian I feel it is my duty to report on any big Hockey news. So here we go.

CBC the public broadcaster and the NHL announced a six-year agreement Monday for national English-language broadcast and multimedia rights to NHL games in Canada. The new agreement, subject to approval by the NHL’s board of governors, begins when the current deal expires at the end of the 2007-2008 season.

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman says

The NHL is thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with this great Canadian institution and build on a tradition that has become a staple for millions of Canadians from the time the first puck is dropped in October through the presentation of the Stanley Cup eight months later.” Hockey Night in Canada is currently in its 54th season
If it wasn't for Hockey night in Canada I wouldn't even watch CBC.

Do those Gilmore Girls Still have a Kick?

Kristin over at Eonline is reporting that the girlmore girls are looking uncertain for a 8th season. Kristin writes

According to sources, our beloved Rory Gilmore is the biggest deciding factor in a season eight, given that she's holding out on signing a new contract and Lauren Graham won't sign without her. Meanwhile, show runner David Rosenthal has been taking meetings around town looking for a new job, which isn't the best sign. However! The fans still love this show, and Gilmore Girls is still one of the strongest on the CW.
I would hate to see this show go.What eles would I watch on Tuesday nights. I have spent the last 6 years watching it.
