Download of the Day: iTunes 7.1 (Windows/Mac)

Windows and Macintosh only: Enjoy full-screen Cover Flow and more
with iTunes 7.1, the latest version of Apple's music manager/media
store.

The updates in this release are minor but worthwhile. Cover Flow,
which lets you browse your albums by flipping through their covers, now
includes a full-screen view, complete with playback controls. Apple has
also added some new sorting options and support for the upcoming Apple
TV gizmo.

The big letdown is that iTunes still doesn't offer folder monitoring, a true head-scratcher. But the new version is worth the download just for the new Cover Flow, which gives Windows users a taste of Front Row. iTunes 7.1 is free, of course. It's available for Windows and Mac.
